Lunch of Neeti Foundation

With Cyberspace becoming an area of intense focus, Neeti Foundation organised a conference on “India’s Cyberspace” in New Delhi on the 26th of June, 2014. The theme of the conference was, “Building a secure and resilient cyberspace". The conference which was executed by Chase-India, aimed at raising awareness on the existing and potential challenges ahead and discussed appropriate measures and methods to enhance cybersecurity through the active participation of all stakeholders.

The conference was supported by the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In), Department of Electronics & Information Technology.

Shri Ram Narain Singh, Member (Technical), Cyber Appellate Tribunal was the “Chief Guest” at the conference.

The event had speakers from various organisations including the Department of Telecommunications, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India(TRAI), Telecommunication Engineering Center, Cert-IN, National Technical Research Organisation (NTRO), Cellular Operators Association of India, Institute for Defence Studies and Analysis and the National Institute for Smart Government amongst others. 

Besides officials from these organisations, the event saw representatives from across various other stakeholders including the Department of Electronics & IT, Telecommunication Engineering Centre, Cert-In, Aircel, CLAWS, Department of Science & Technology, Ebay, Embassy of Sweden, GIZ, IIT Delhi, Innovate Infosec, NDMA, Net4India, NICSI, Tech Mahindra, Verizon, Yahoo, UTL India, Consumer VOICE, Vodafone, BSNL and AICTE etc amongst others. 

The event which was held at Le Meridien Hotel was graciously sponsored by computer hardware giant AMD and Codenomicon Software a leading IT security company.
